The role is also responsible for developing and implementing operational policies and governance processes to support the management and control of QTRIP funding, as well as managing and administering assigned Australian Government or State Government Programs.
Some of your responsibilities will include:- Monitor and report monthly on the physical and financial progress of the Infrastructure Investment Program to ensure delivery within funding allocations and consistent with relevant state and federal government legislation, policies and governance framework requirements.- Review scoping, development and/or delivery phase Project Proposal Reports and other departmental submissions for Australian Government funding approval.- Provide input to the annual QTRIP publication, with respect to assigned investment programs and projects, through development, analysis and management of program and project information, in TMR systems.- Manage the preparation of reports, submissions, briefing papers, ministerial correspondence as required, ensuring appropriate governance frameworks are followed in relation to systems, policy and processes.- Liaise with the Australian Government, regions/districts regarding Infrastructure Investment Program project/program issues, including review and assess projects, program variations and contracts to ensure objectives of legislative and administrative requirements are met.- Provide Infrastructure Investment Program advice to Manager (National Network Programs), Director (National Network Programs), the Australian Government and other stakeholders concerning financial and physical progress of projects and associated administrative matters.

To thrive in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following:- Knowledge of infrastructure program performance management.- Knowledge of infrastructure management systems- Knowledge of the structure and funding sources of the QTRIP, in particular the federally funded roads and rail infrastructure program.- Demonstrated accountability for programs and projects ensuring alignment to Australian and State government priorities and relevant policies
