This role is offered on a temporary full-time basis, for a period of 12 months, unless otherwise determined.

About the Role
The Principal Program Officer will be responsible for managing and reporting on a range of Program operations, including Program finances, controls and governance, procurement, RAIDD management and assurance activities. This role will have a focus on the administration of financial transactions and budget management, and apply knowledge of contemporary financial systems and processes to ensure effective program financial operations and compliance with departmental and whole-of-government requirements.
The role will support the PMO Manager, Program Manager and Program Director by ensuring these functions are well managed, accurately reported and in alignment with relevant departmental standards and requirements, and by establishing and maintaining productive relationships with relevant teams across the department and key external stakeholders.
The Principal Program Officer will have the opportunity to grow their experience and skills with the potential for exposure to a range of Program activities, working alongside experienced Program professionals.
