THE ROLE
Are You:
* Experienced in delivering and programming multifaceted fast-track social infrastructure projects
* Experienced in delivering highly complex, large scale developments with multiple consultancies and stakeholders?
* Experienced in managing and overseeing the full life cycle of projects (including feasibility, construction and design management, government procurement processes, town planning, tendering and contract administration) with a focus of identifying risks and establishing risk mitigation processes?
* Efficient in providing leadership, guidance and authoritative advice to internal and external stakeholders?
* A proven project management professional with exceptional interpersonal, written communication, consultation and negotiation skills?
The Principal Project Managers will work in a collaborative and innovative team focused on delivering the Government's Big Housing Build agenda of increasing social and affordable housing in Victoria.
The Principal Project Managers will provide pro-active and authoritative project management leadership and oversee and manage a range of multi-disciplinary consultancies involved in design, documentation and project delivery. This includes coordinating procurement processes, budget and cash flow management, construction contract administration, stakeholder management, reporting and risk and issues management.
ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE
Reporting to Director, the Principal Project Managers will oversee and manage a range of multi-disciplinary consultancies involved in design, documentation and project delivery. This includes coordinating procurement processes, budget and cash flow management, stakeholder management, reporting, and risk and issues management.
The Principal Project Managers will oversee and manage a range of activities including design town planning, developing and executing consultant and contractor procurement processes, managing tender evaluations and negotiations and facilitating consultant/contractor engagements and decisions through program governance forums. The role will brief, procure and manage multi-disciplinary consultancies involved in design, documentation and project delivery. The role includes leadership and management of public and internal procurement and transaction processes, budget and cash flow management, reporting, and risk and issues management.
