The role of this position is to work with and influence others to ensure that DJAG is solving the right issues in a timely way that create an Information Management environment that works for us and the Queensland community.
You will be an effective Principal Project Officer, work with officers of all levels across DJAG.
This role requires you to lead key activities that focus on maturing Information Management capability across the organisation within a project delivery context. This may include developing a project plan, managing the delivery schedule, developing communities of practice, reviewing the operation of working groups and building awareness of Information Management maturity.

In this role, you will:
- Plan, develop and implement communication and engagement activities for a wide range of stakeholder groups.
- Manage the input of subject matters experts to provide well researched recommendations to DJAG and ensure contemporary approaches to IM strategy are identified and adopted.
- Develop policies and implement recommendations identified for priority action by DJAG.
- Manage the input of subject matters experts to develop well-researched recommendations to DJAG
- Good knowledge of project management methodologies with Agile preferred.
- Work with multiple stakeholders and project deliverables simultaneously and adjusts priorities quickly as circumstances dictate.
- Ensures internal and external stakeholder engagement is well managed via good practice relationship and engagement, client and supplier management and enables effective and efficient operational service delivery.
- Good knowledge of Information Management principles and practices.
- Working knowledge of Change management concepts and processes.
