Do you have extensive high level investigation skills and experience, and are able to undertake complex and/or protracted investigations relating to allegations of non-compliance with legislative provisions? Are you experienced in the preparation of detailed investigation reports and/or briefs of evidence relating to those investigations?Are you adept at providing support, guidance and mentoring to team members relating to investigative best practise?If so, we are seeking a Principal Regulatory Officer to join our team in the North Queensland, Early Childhood Regulatory Authority located in the Townsville Regional Office. This position is offered on a full-time basis.
Responsibilities include:
- Undertaking complex regulatory activities, making recommendations and decisions that support the Regulatory Authority to undertake its functions under the legislation and in accordance with the principles of good administrative decision making.
- Utilising extensive high level investigation skills and experience, undertake complex investigations relating to alleged breaches of the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations
- Providing guidance and support to team members to ensure delivery of effective regulatory practice.
