Primary responsibilities:
- Act as the technical authority for all opportunities within the assigned region
- Deep technical expertise of Zscaler technologies
- Deep technical expertise of Domain specific Customer Environments
- Engage directly with customer in coordination of the field SEs to help move opportunities forward on weekly/daily basis
- Provide technical Quality Assurance on top opportunities in region and engage directly where necessary
- Assist with champion building in priority accounts
- Promote technical excellence across the team and modeling best practices
- POV execution & POV documentation (PoV plan & playbook)
- Oversee success criteria, ensuring differentiation
- Carry lead role in at least one TAG
- The PSE will also be the regional TAG lead for one of the 7 core TAG technologies
- Ability to interact with PM team to disseminate product knowledge to fellow SE's
- Create content and document solutions such as white papers, product documentation, and training for internal or external use.
Additional responsibilities:
- Engage with key technical leaders at top partners and build relationships
- Support ongoing coaching and technical SE team members
- Ownership of technical content in the SE weekly call
- Owning and responding to questions in the Regional SE slack channel
- Support content development for technical enablement and partner with REV team on content delivery
- Act as the technical screener for all new candidates within the team
- Participate all panel interviews with the assigned region
- Partner with Product Management for ER Prioritization
Qualifications
- External candidates must already be in architect/principal SE/PSE position
- Internal candidates must have 2 years in SE role at Zscaler (preferably at Senior SE level)
- Must demonstrate a annual attainment above 100% in one of first last two years. SE's with tenure over 2yrs must have made their quota 75% of the time.
- Demonstrated mastery of Zscaler sales and technical sales process
- Has shown ability to support customers outside of assigned account list
- Higher level industry certifications
- Track record of strong presentations at internal and external events
- Above average POV Win Rate
- Participated in a TAG for over a year
- Has shown ability to mentor new hires (with positive feedback from "SE Buddies" )
- Demonstrated ability to train and disseminate information to technical communities, both internally and externally
