We have grown from humble roots into one of the world’s largest and most efficient grain supply chains, delivering millions of tonnes of quality Western Australian grain into the hands of customers around the world each year.

Our storage and handling system currently receives and exports around 90 per cent of the Western Australian grain harvest and is regarded as one of the best in the world.

About the role

As we continue to integrate our ‘Path to 2033’ Strategy across the organisation, each division crafts an annual Business Unit Plan. This plan outlines its unique value proposition, the core services it provides, the initiatives that will propel us towards our 2033 targets, and the metrics we’ll use to gauge our success.

We’re excited to offer the opportunity to be at the core of our revitalised CBH Strategy ‘Path to 2033’. This role offers insights into and support for our Strategic Focus Area priority projects. You will be supporting the Head of Strategy and the organisation in developing and executing strategy and business-critical projects.

In collaboration with stakeholders within CBH, your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting Head of Strategy in developing corporate and business unit strategies.

  • Helping the business deliver on business-critical projects.

  • Providing strategic and execution advice across the organisation on critical initiatives and optimal ways to deliver on-time and within budget.

  • Identifying and assessing new project initiatives to fulfill CBH’s strategic priorities.

  • Leading critical cross-functional and organization-wide projects.

What are seeking individuals with:

  • Direct experience in leading strategic projects.

  • Post-graduate qualification in Business, Commerce, Engineering or related discipline.

  • 8 years’ experience in investment banking, professional services, consulting or corporate strategy.

  • Project management experience.

  • Ability to lead complex projects (mergers and acquisitions, large capital expenditure, productivity programs).

  • Relationship building skills with stakeholders.

  • Critical analysis skills for value creation opportunities.

  • A commitment to working in a team environment and demonstrating values of Collaboration, Respect, Reliability, Sustainability, Inclusion, Diversity and Equity.

Beneficial Experience:

  • Demonstrated ability to assist in the development of long-term strategic plans.

  • Knowledge of commodities and / or supply chain.
