We have an exciting opportunity for a professional, motivated, well-presented Registered Nurse to join our Clinical team. This role is a permanent part time position (34 hours per week over 4 days) working over our 3 sites. The focus of this role is to provide efficient and streamlined clinical services to our patients and consultant surgeons at Eyemedics.
Reporting to the Clinical Manager, you will be based within a friendly, supportive team environment, with everyone working together to put the patient at the centre of excellent clinical care.
We are a busy practice where our staff are highly valued and work in a positive environment where you can make a difference. As a member of the clinical team you will interact with and assist our Ophthalmologists, support patient needs and work as part of a dynamic team
Key duties and responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Assisting Ophthalmologists with Ophthalmic procedures
- Patient care and education
- Pathology results and patient consent management
- Infection control
- Clinical testing and patient work ups
- Medical stock maintenance and control
- Managing clinical areas, including cleaning, maintaining equipment and an understanding of both onsite and offsite sterilisation protocols.

You thrive in challenging situations, with tight attention to detail and the capability to effectively manage your time throughout the work day. This is a diverse role and you will develop on going Ophthalmic clinical skills with all training provided on site.
