About The Role:
This Process Analyst role is pivotal in ensuring the efficiency, effectiveness as well as continuous improvement of organisational operations impacted by project change. The position demands a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, excellent stakeholder skills and strategic mindset to enhance and streamline processes off the back of changes delivered by digital project deployment. In 2024, Bendigo Kangan Institute will be delivering a new student management system migrating our students from a legacy platform to a recently deployed platform, bringing all student management activities into the one place. The Process Analyst will be responsible for evaluating existing workflows & mapping current state processes, mapping future state processes based on the changes, identifying gaps and recommending enhancements that optimise productivity and resource utilisation in any process impacted by project changes.

• Analytical and Data-driven Decision Making: The capability to evaluate complex processes, identify areas for improvement, and make informed decisions by analysing data.
• Process Mapping and Visualisation: Proficiency in creating comprehensive current and future state process maps and flowcharts to document and visualise workflows. Experience with a process mapping tool, ideally Nintex Promapp.
• Effective Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills for conveying complex ideas and recommendations to diverse stakeholders.
• Project and Change Management: Expertise in project management principles and the ability to effectively manage and communicate process-related changes.
• Problem-Solving and Solution Development: Adept at addressing issues within processes and developing effective solutions.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with process modelling, automation tools, and data analysis software.
• Change Management and Adoption: Skill in managing changes effectively, including addressing resistance and ensuring successful process improvement adoption.
• Collaboration and Interpersonal Skills: The ability to work closely with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts.
• Comprehensive Documentation: Proficiency in maintaining clear and thorough documentation of processes, workflows, and procedures.
• Attention to Detail and Risk Management: A keen eye for small discrepancies and the capability to identify potential risks associated with process changes and develop mitigation strategies.
