Xtreme caulking is an established and experienced company born in 2011 with the desire of supplying a specialized caulking service to the building industry and has been involved since in major projects over the years. The company has had significant growth in recent years and in its expansion project it is working to achieve optimal levels of quality, costs, and times in the production of the service.
As a Process Engineer you will interact with the Caulkers, Manager, Foreman, and stakeholders of each project. You will participate in the beginning of each job with the analysis of the best practices and materials according to the safety requirements and the standards of the contract. You will monitor through indicators the progress of each project and compliance with policies and procedures. At the end of the project, you will evaluate the achievement of objectives and you will document the project.
Task and Responsibilities:
- Manage the production of services and analyse process functions to clarify work units’ duty of care.
- Evaluate existing processes, production schedules and implement continuous improvement to optimise the efficiencies (improve times and reduce costs).
- Implement and manage process indicators and manufacture specifications.
- Document processes and lead the ISO 9001 certification.
- Conducting risk assessments for each project.
- Ensure that the processes meet the standards of safety and quality of service by following engineering principles.
- Realization of process simulations and problem solving to develop standards and utilise the production.
- Carrying out optimization tests.
- Manage technical resources using technological tools.
- Develop routines and best practices to ensure service quality.
- Develop standardized service operating instructions to optimise project labour and process delivery.
- Supervision of quality and safety of materials used and regular inspection of plant.
Qualifications:
- Engineering Degree
- High risk work license advantageous
- Project management course
- Leadership and management course
Experience Requirements:
- 3 or more years of experience in a similar role
- Experience in construction industry
