AddressMinara Resources has an opportunity for a Process Engineer to join our established and dedicated team.

Our Murrin Murrin site in WA's northern Goldfields is an integrated nickel and cobalt mining and processing operation employing over 1,000 people. The Role
The MMO processing plant is grouped into three functional areas (Ore Leach, Refinery and Utilities). Our Process Engineering and Process Safety department provides technical support to all three operating areas; providing our engineers with operating experience across a wide range of unit operations. The successful person will become a member of a hardworking and committed team who are responsible for providing technical support to all three operating areas. Each area presents unique opportunities for professional development and the opportunity to positively impact safety and production outcomes.
You will be responsible for:
- Monitoring an assigned area, highlighting deviations and implementing corrective actions;
- Initiating, planning and implementing process studies and preparing technical reports on project studies and plant trials;
- Reviewing and contributing to continuous improvement of process design, equipment selection and control philosophy;
- Providing process information to other departments; and
- Advocating safe practice across our plant.
About You
This role would suit a technically sound engineer with effective communication and relationship building skills who has an interest in developing a career in operations. You will also have:
- Tertiary qualifications in Chemical/Metallurgical Engineering;
- Experience in continuous chemical/mineral process industry;
- Strong report writing skills; and
- Demonstrated effective problem solving and troubleshooting abilities.
