The Honeymoon project is located in South Australia, is fully licensed for exports of up to 3.3mlb and is run by a strong management team which has leveraged off industry experts.
About the Role
Boss Energy is thrilled to announce opportunities within our Production team. These positions will encompass a range of duties involving processing, packaging, and overseeing operations at our Honeymoon Uranium Mine. The role requires ongoing communication with the team throughout shifts, offering updates on plant status and addressing any encountered issues. It entails operating equipment in a safe, efficient, and productive manner to optimize plant performance and ensure the delivery of high-quality products meeting specific standards.
The role will be FIFO from Adelaide charter terminal direct to the Honeymoon mine site on an 8:6 roster.

Process Plant Operator
Key responsibilities for this role include:
- Operating plant and equipment in a secure, efficient, and productive manner to optimize metallurgical production effectiveness by proficiently utilizing systems and procedures within processing plant areas such as: IX circuit, precipitation circuit, and the calcining and packing plant.
- Safely handle the unloading of reagents.
- Monitor process equipment and parameters to swiftly identify and address any issues.
- Support in the maintenance of wellfield equipment, involving tasks such as cleaning and replacing sumps.
Product Packaging Operator
Key responsibilities for this role include:
- Monitor and adjust drying and packaging plant parameters, focusing on safety, production, quality, and cost targets.
- Record and track yellowcake samples from the plant, highlighting any deviations from the intended final product levels.
- Adhere to standard operating protocols, including procedures for plant start-up and shut-down, to guarantee smooth and safe operations.
- Handle the unloading of reagents from supply trucks into the plant's tank farm.
About You
You will have the following skills, experience and qualifications:
- Certificate III in Process Plant Operations or equivalent.
- Experience in plant process operations or a relevant field, with a preference for experience in the mining sector.
- Exhibit outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, enabling effective collaboration within a team setting.
- Demonstrate adept problem-solving skills, capable of analyzing and resolving intricate issues.
