The successful candidate will ideally have government Procurement and Contracts experience and will have the opportunity to work on various procurement projects.

The Job….
Reporting into the Procurement Manager, you will be mainly responsible for the following duties:

• Provide end-to-end support for purchasing, procurement, and contract management, including research and reporting
• Plan and execute procurement activities, from proposal creation to contract award and negotiation
• Guide team members on procurement policies and practices.
• Coordinate evaluation processes for cost-effective procurement
• Assist in market research, risk analysis, and contract specifications
• Generate regular and ad-hoc procurement reports
• Maintain comprehensive records for accountability and audits
• Collaborate with stakeholders to improve supplier performance metrics

  
You….
To be successful in this Procurement role, you must have experience in the following areas:

• At least 12 months Procurement and contract management experience
• An understanding of government procurement requirements will be advantageous 
• Formal training and/or experience in Procurement and contract management will be favoured 
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
