We invite procurement and contract management professionals to join Charterpoint's Procurement team. Responsibilities:
Collaborating with clients on procurement and contract management matters within the Public Service.
Cultivating robust client relationships by engaging directly with them and their teams on-site.
Applying a deep understanding of government procurement policies to interpret processes and procedures.
Guiding clients through the procurement and contract management lifecycle, including RFQ formulation, market-sounding strategies, evaluation methodologies, contract oversight, compliance evaluations, gap analyses, risk assessments, pricing evaluations, and value-for-money assessments.
Maintaining awareness of issues and emerging trends in the Commonwealth procurement and contracting lifecycle.
Ensuring meticulous contract administration and fostering effective communication among stakeholders, hiring managers, and the procurement team.
Qualifications:
Demonstrated procurement or contract management expertise, with knowledge of the Commonwealth Procurement Rules or AUSDEFCON suite of tendering and contracting templates.
Outstanding team collaboration skills, and stakeholder management capabilities.
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, complemented by strong written and verbal communication skills.
A client-centric mindset focused on cultivating enduring relationships and anticipating client.
Eligibility:
All positions are based in Canberra and offer full-time or part-time options.
