A major health department based in the Western suburbs of Perth, are seeking two highly experienced procurement professionals to join the team ASAP. Initially, both roles will be offered on a temporary engagement until the end of 2024, with possibilities of extensions offered. You will be required to work full-time hours, paid at a competitive hourly rate.Your new role
Within this role you will be responsible for managing the development, implementation and evaluation of assigned procurement and contract processes, in addition to:- Developing and managing procurement documentation
- Monitoring, reporting and evaluating supplier performance against Key Performance Indicators
- Lead and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders around procurement requirements, queries and advice
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the wider procurement team as required
- Ensure that procurement and contract management documentation is in line with government policies and legislation
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be considered for this role, you will demonstrate extensive Procurement Contract management experience, in addition to:- Previous experience working within a government organisation
- Advanced written communication skills with confidence in drafting and editing technical procurement documentation
- Significant knowledge of procurement processes, performance management systems and evaluations
- Excellent communication skills with confidence in delivering professional advice to key stakeholders
- Excellent organisation skills
