The Governance Manager leads specific tasks in the category space and outcomes across all business units for both direct and indirect spend categories. The role is responsible for establishing and improving governance in the procurement space, including procurement organisational development and delivery to support strategic & operating plans.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Establish and implement the practical, effective and manageable processes in supply chain to comply with Modern Slavery obligations.
- Establishing central Supplier Risk register catering to identify supply chain risks, commercial risks, modern slavery risks etc.
- Work with category teams to establish communication channels with the key high-risk vendors to manage various supply chain risks.
- Preparing, implementing, and documenting the mitigation plans for the identified risks.
- Monitoring and auditing the procurement team's compliance with the requirement of established Procurement process and policies.
- Work with the Senior Category Manager on identified continuous improvement projects to drive tangible outcomes.
- Drafting templates for RFx (including framework for reverse auctions) to be used in ARIBA Sourcing.
- Rolling out agreed training for the entire procurement team. - Establish Project Management Office structure to ensure each procurement projects are tracked and concluded in timely manner.
