True Foods is on the search for a Procurement & Inventory Managerto support the business as a strategic, value adding leader working to optimise the supply of goods and service whilst managing potential risks. You will provide specialist support to our Head of Supply Chain and Logistics, and have an active role in the leadership of our Procurement team. 

How you will contribute

• Provide positive leadership, support and guidance to the procurement team to align with our company's values and behaviours 
• Foster an engaging, inclusive, and supportive culture across the business
• Support a high level of communication and documentation on procurement issues for Sales and Operating Planning (S&OP) as well as production forums
• Manage supplier relationships and performance
• Establish and deliver procurement plans
• Place orders in a timely manner to meet forecasted production requirements
• Be proactive to alert and seek resolution with the Planner of any potential issues in respect of supply of raw materials and packaging
• Maintain safety levels commensurate with the companies desired service level and required inventory balance sheet position/budget
• Expedite overdue orders
• Maintain purchase data integrity of key inputs into the MRP process 
• Ensure inventory accuracy through co-ordination of cycle counts
• Locate and recommend suitable suppliers of requirement materials goods and services
• Requests and assesses quotations and other information from suppliers as requested

What you will bring

• Tertiary qualified preferably in Business Administration, Supply Chain/Logistics or related discipline (additional Certified Production Inventory Management (CPIM) or equivalent would be advantageous)
• Proven experience in a procurement sourcing, supply chain, logistics or warehouse role ideally within a FMCG/manufacturing environment
• Experience leading, managing, motivating and engaging a team
• Outstanding communications skills with a strong ability to build relationships with external and internal stakeholders from all levels 
• A focus on systems and processes, an analytical mindset, problem solving abilities and high attention to detail 
• Strong computers skills including MS Office Suit particularly Excel
