About the Role
Our firm is seeking an experienced Procurement & Logistics Officer to support both our solar wholesale and commercial business at our Bibra Lake office.
The Procurement & Logistics Officer is responsible for the provision of procurement and purchasing services along with logistical support to facilitate end to end procurement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop demand plans & control stock levels at all our locations
- Liaise with vendors and keep control over prices, lead times, and special campaigns
- Maintain performance records on vendors and enhance vendor management processes
- Optimise stock quantity at all warehouses based on sales analysis
- Ensure timely placement of orders and deliveries
- Liaise with internal team members from sales, finance, and operations to get a 360degree view of the business needs
- Monitor and manage our logistics partners and control our freight costs
- Generate management reports highlighting key Procurement & Logistics data indicators
- Participate in both national and international online procurement meetings
- Adhere to corporate compliance policies
- Monitor market & policy developments in the renewable energy industry
Qualifications/Experience
- International experience in a similar role
- Qualification in Procurement & Logistics
- Experience in product and category management
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent analytical skills
- German language skills desirable
