Procurement Manager

We have a vacancy for an experienced Procurement expert. This role will be responsible for maintaining inventory control and purchasing functions. 

The role will include: 

• Administer and manage supplier agreements by monitoring performance and initiating corrective action, where necessary, and periodically report on supplier performance and purchasing plan KPIs. 
• Negotiation with suppliers as necessary. 
• Deliver cost savings to the business through improved purchasing processes. 
• Maintaining database for stock on site and incoming goods. 
• Carrying out stocktakes as required. 
• Reconciling production requirements with stock on hand. 
• Ensuring supply of packaging and ingredients available as and when needed. 
• Follow up outstanding purchase orders to ensure timely delivery. 
• Ensure purchase price is as per agreement with supplier. 

Ideally the successful candidate will possess the following: 

• 3-5 years commercial experience in similar role.  
• High level of organisational skills, written and verbal communication. 
• Ability to build strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, strong negotiation skills.  
• Highly effective numerical and analytical skills with an eye for detail and accuracy. 
• An energetic and positive attitude with a desire to learn and develop. 
• A strong teamwork approach with an ability to be flexible, and willingness to work on a range of activities. 
• Focus on safety at all times. 
• Maintaining and adhering to all correct safety practices including completing compliance documentation.
• Business degree majoring in supply and logistics or relevant industry experience (highly desirable)
