We are looking for a Procurement Officer to join our growing team!
MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Purchasing and procurement of products for customer base
- Accurate forecasting and management of stock control
- Maintaining good supplier relations and keeping accurate records
- Analysing and evaluating supplier performance and general upkeep of the approved supplier list
- Negotiating and handling supplier contracts
- Track deliveries, ensuring goods are received in accordance with quotes and invoices.
- Address sales team product inquiries
- General housekeeping of warehouse
- Any other relevant ad hoc duties required within the role, which may include picking/packing of orders, dispatch/receiving of goods
ESSENTIAL SKILLS & REQUIRNMENTS
- Previous experience in a procurement role preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Customer service and interpersonal skills
- Good time management and strategic thinking
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work in a team environment, and independently
- IT savvy
