AddressA leading provider of bespoke & high-quality Window Furnishings is seeking an experienced Procurement Officer to join their team on the lower north shore.
This role will be responsible for looking after all aspects of procurement and operations, ensuring efficient and cost-effective acquisition of products and materials to service the project pipeline.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee all order processing for window furnishing products including blinds, curtains, shutters etc.
- Accurately enter all data including order and quotation details into the CRM system
- Collaborate with the General Sales Manager to align procurement activities with sales forecasts and customer expectations
- Collaborate with the operations and manufacturing departments to ensure seamless handover and installation
- Coordinate with suppliers and stakeholders to secure competitive pricing and on-time delivery
- Manage inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstock of products
- Lead and manage the ordering department including setting performance goals and KPIs
- Maintain up to date knowledge of Window Furnishings knowledge, including technical and installation understanding
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify new market opportunities, as well as emerging industry trends and new products
Skills and experience
- Proven experience in a procurement or operational role, preferable within the window furnishing or textile sectors
- Strong knowledge of Window Furnishings products, components and fabrics
- Detail orientated with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent time management and organisational skills with the ability to multitask and handle competing deadlines
- Exceptional written and verbal communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team
- Proficient in Sales Force and Microsoft Office
