Procurement Officer

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Procurement Specialist to streamline departmental operations.
• Uphold procurement policies and ethical standards with transparency.
• Provide stellar customer service to all business units.
• Expedite vendor registration in line with company policy.
• Aid the Proposal department as needed.
• Manage RFQ processes according to company guidelines.
• Process purchase orders promptly.
• Maintain Project Procurement folders and document communications.
• Assist in managing procurement systems and apps.
• Generate accurate purchasing/procurement reports.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and document outcomes.
• Contribute to achieving procurement savings targets.
• Participate in Vendor Audits and management activities.
• Maintain professional vendor communications.
• Support other departmental tasks as required.

Requirements

• Minimum 6+ years of experience in procurement.
• Results-driven, strong negotiation, attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, proficiency in IT tools (Excel, ERP systems, Ariba), strong communication (written and verbal), excellent customer service, multitasking ability, research, analytical, and problem-solving skills, business acumen.
• Tertiary qualification preferred; technical qualifications advantageous.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, effective task planning and management, deadline-oriented, goal-driven, team player or autonomous worker.
• Demonstrate dedication to satisfying internal and external customers.
• Showcase in-depth knowledge and skill in procurement support.
• Focus on achieving challenging goals and exceeding expectations.
