The Company
We are working with an Australian owned and operated Manufacturing business located within the Blacktown Region of Western Sydney, who are seeking a permanent full time Procurement Officer to join the team.
The Role
As the Procurement Officer, you will be working closely with the Accounts Manager and the Sales Manager and be responsible for, but not be limited to:
- Processing & Inputting Sales Orders daily
- Allocating stock / inventory against Purchase Orders accurately
- Generation Invoicing / Billings daily
- Attending to customer enquiries - pricing, availability, and deliveries
- Assisting with Accounts Payable & Receivable tasks as required
To be considered for the position:
You will be a self-starter, enthusiastic and thrive working within a fast-paced environment, amongst a team. You will have demonstrated experience with:
- Accounts Payable, Invoicing, and strong understanding of Purchase Orders
- Prior procurement experience within the Manufacturing, Construction or similar industries desirable (but not essential)
- Excellent customer service skills - this position will require you to communicate effectively via phone / video
- Excel - intermediate level of excel skills
- You will hold a current driver's license have your own vehicle - Free Parking available onsite for all employees. This location is not close to public transport.
