THE CHALLENGE
As a pivotal member of our dynamic team, the Product Developers for Boardriders play a crucial role in bringing to market the most well-executed, innovative, and profitable product ranges in the industry. Your responsibilities will span the entire apparel development process, from 2-D drawing to prototypes and samples, covering the SPAC region. Your main responsibilities include:
- Lead the development and execution of products in relevant categories, driving new fabrications, techniques, treatments, and processes to stay at the forefront of apparel and accessories.
- Ensure product development aligns with margin targets and production calendars.
- Act as a liaison between merchandising, design, and production teams.
- Work closely with designers to review prototypes, submit for approval, and understand cost build-ups.
- Maximize gross margin opportunities through leverage, re-engineering, and tooling amortization.
- Own SAP push requirements and deadlines, ensuring timely execution.
- Manage PLM, including style set-up, BOMs, sample comments, and approvals.
- Attend fittings and participate in quality audits for respective categories.
- Meet all deadlines for necessary categories, ensuring cleanliness of PLM for SAP pushes and validation.
- Handle prototype and sample management with precision.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are seeking several dynamic and highly skilled Product Developers who bring:
- In-depth product development knowledge of apparel development.
- Familiarity with product development calendars, timelines, and deliverables.
- Strong analytical skills to make data-driven decisions.
- Effective communication skills for collaboration with internal and external teams.
- Proven ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional organizational and detail-oriented skills.
- Proficiency in MAC computers, Illustrator, Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and PLM systems.
