Retail Banking Services (RBS) is the public face of CommBank, delivering a seamless banking experience for the future, to our 10 million + personal and small business customers. Within RBS, the Consumer Finance Team is responsible for end to end P&L management, product design, credit risk, acquisition & portfolio management and customer experience for Credit Cards and Personal Loans.

As a Product Manager - Cards Modernisation in Consumer Finance, you will be a squad member dedicated to our transformation agenda and delivering our future platform for cards. A once in a career opportunity, you will leverage your cards industry knowledge, thought leadership and strategic mindset to deliver a new platform, simplification of our Credit Card product and processes, plus feature enhancements and incredible customer outcomes.
More specifically you will:
- Lead across the Credit Cards Crew to enable multi-year transformational change, including delivery of the cards platform of the future
- Apply your judgement and delivery experience to drive outcomes in partnership with project and technical teams
- Develop and implement the strategy for product simplification, migration and future state opportunities
- Develop relationships with and work closely with vendor(s) and internal vendor support teams
- Manage deliverables within the squad, including with delivery teams
- Be responsible for continued monitoring and proactive improvements of the product risk and control environment
- Ensure robust operational risk management, and continuous improvement of the product suite and processes
- Enhance and create exceptional Customer Journeys
We want to hear from people who have:
- 3 years + financial services experience
- Credit Card & Payment Processing knowledge
- Experience in vendor management
- Strong commercial acumen and strategy development skills
- Strong thought leadership & ability to work autonomously
- The ability and enthusiasm to act as a ‘change leader' in supporting transformational activities
- Experience dealing with a highly complex operational environment
- A track record of working collaboratively with multiple stakeholders across teams
- Proven problem-solving skills couple with a strong ability to innovation and think outside the box
- Relevant Tertiary degree highly regarded
