Zenith Payments is an Australian owned and operated Prepaid Card and innovative payment processing business, located in Balmain (NSW). We service and support clients across a range of industries.
In this role, the successful candidate will work with the Prepaid Cards, Head of Product, to own, manage and deliver the product roadmap collaborating with the Development Team to deliver product releases for new products and product enhancements.
About the role
You will be a leader within the Product Team and work alongside team members, other departments, and our Development Team. Your responsibilities include:
- Liaise with solution / tech lead and Head of Product for high level solution design and recommendations for new Product and produce enhancement roadmap.
- Translate business requirements into functional requirements / stories.
- Assist facilitation and be a key contributor to grooming for new requirements.
- Provide input into the UX / Customer Journeys to ensure the right user experience for several proprietary applications and consumer / corporate client facing websites and Apps.
- Manage successful project delivery from initiation to deployment and broader ‘go to market’ planning and execution across the business for one major or several minor projects simultaneously. Management of projects in JIRA including monitoring of delivery workflow.
- Manage multiple related projects to ensure the overall program is aligned to and directly supports the achievement of strategic objectives.
- Prepare detailed project plans for all phases of a project.
- Provide status reporting on project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and issues to key stakeholders.
- Participate in establishing processes, templates, policies and tools to support new products and enhancements.
- Participate in testing new products and product enhancements.
- Ensure the features in each release are delivering the right customer value, business improvements and other outcomes.
- Participate in team demos and sales training.
- Maintain technical awareness of existing and potential platform/application capabilities and limitations.
Skills and experience you will need to excel
- 3+ years’ experience in a Product or Technical Team working in an Agile environment.
- Tech savvy with proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation, and excellence.
- Excellent communication (written, verbal and presentation) and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, decisive, with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands.
- Excel (good understanding of formulas), Word (bookmarking and templating) and PowerPoint; Jira; basic database concepts. Technically competent with html, javascript and css. Some understanding required.
- Experience in successfully completing projects / tasks on-time.
- Experience working both independently and, in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Flexible with proven ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Must be able to learn, understand and apply new technologies.
- Proven ability to work in an ambiguous environment and collaborate across multiple areas of the business
- Demonstrate decisiveness in resolving business problems, making decisions, and identifying priorities. This involves working to a well-defined roadmap and pipeline structure.
- Tertiary qualification in Information Technology discipline or equivalent.
