This is a newly created role for a consultative and collaborative Product Manager focused on Defined Benefits (DB) and Regulatory Change to partner with the broader business to improve member outcomes. You will play a crucial role within the Product team and work closely with other teams to help interpret and respond to Regulatory Changes impacting the Fund's product suite.Key responsibilities:
- Act as a subject matter expert for the Fund's DB products and serve as a representative in relevant projects and strategic planning in respect of defined benefit matters.
- Regularly conduct market research to stay informed on trends, opportunities, and risks within the DB market.
- Develop and drive effectiveness of the Product related Regulatory Change management framework;
- Monitor the external regulatory environment, including events, trends and emerging themes;
- Identify, assess and communicate the impact of Regulatory Change on the Fund's products
- Successfully collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to drive product success and customer satisfaction;
- Proven track record in a product management role within the financial services industry is essential;
- Experience working with or exposure to DB is a must have (but would accept applications with historic experience if not more recent);
- Strong knowledge and understanding of superannuation products;
- An understanding of regulatory frameworks within superannuation;
- Tertiary qualifications in any relevant field;
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal; AND
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
