What you’d be doing in this role
As Canva scales change continues to be part of our DNA. But we like to think that's all part of the fun. So this will give you the flavour of the type of things you'll be working on when you start, but this will likely evolve.
This is a unique opportunity for a current or aspiring Product Manager to join our Logged-out Homepage team, working on Canva’s highest volume landing page!
At the moment, this role is focused on:
- Developing and owning the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the future of the logged-out homepage at Canva. Where do we take the page next? How do we optimize for our millions of mobile users? How do we shift the page towards a more B2B focus? These questions and more are yours to answer and solve.
- Working with Marketing to tread the line between marketing and product, ensuring the page keeps up with Canva’s ever-evolving brand and keeps it’s high conversion rate.
- Coordinating with localization teams and country managers to ensure the page is truly local for our key markets.
- Working with our SEO teams to ensure we maintain and optimize Canva’s SEO rankings
- Coordinating a passionate, cross-functional team of engineers, data scientists, and designers to execute this roadmap and deliver a new experience to our millions of users.
You're probably a match if
- You bring prior product management experience, or you have a strong desire to move in to this space.
- You’re great with data (both qualitative and quantitative) and love turning insights into actions.
- You have an understanding of UX, you love Canva’s seamless and simple design, and will work hard to protect it.
- You love bringing people together to ship innovative solutions and projects, and have proven experience in doing so.
- You can work cross-functionally with various teams (i.e. Design, Engineering, Product, Review, Content) to execute and iterate, and can rally a team around a mission.
- You think with a growth mindset, and can rationalise new ideas and measure their success
About the team
The Logged-out home page is the shop window for Canva, it attracts over 70 million visitors per month, making it our highest-volume landing page! As a leader in the design space, Canva’s homepage needs to be world-class, reflecting both cutting-edge design and functionality, it is truly the intersection of marketing and product.
The page has to quickly and succinctly inform our potential users about Canva’s many value propositions while inspiring users with our fun and magical brand tone. We also need to provide a seamless route for our millions of returning users, enabling them to log back into their account.
