The Role:
We are seeking an innovative Digital Product Ownerto define and deliver the customer facing engagement strategy in an Agile Practice, by balancing strategic vision, effective communication, collaboration and decision-making ability to maximise value for the product and stakeholders, primarily Customer and Technology Leaders.
- The Product Owner defines the vision for their squad and works with them from concept to launch across the product lifecycle to ensure customer experience and business goals are met.
- The Product Ownerwill focus on the culture of delivering business value and as so, questioning the value of product changes to separate “wants” from “needs” whilst gaining consensus amongst stakeholders.
- Champion customer needs with a keen sense of design to deliver experiences that delight our customers and partners
- Define product roadmaps and prioritised backlogs, create prototypes and designs
Essential Criteria:
- 4+ years of Product Owner experience preferably in complex IT programs and ideally with lending or banking products.
- Demonstrated experience in driving Product Ownership practices, including strong understanding of Product Ownership frameworks including ability to write stories and be involved in T Shape activities(e.g. Agile, Scrum Lean SaFe).
- Strategic thinking and innovation abilities, with a track record of driving innovation, problem- solving, and delivering impactful solutions.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to synthesize data from multiple sources.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of engaging with diverse audiences, including technical and non technical stakeholders.
- Facilitation of groups to elicit requirements and design
- Experience working in regulated industries such as Finance
- Bachelor degree with in-depth product management expertise
