Position Overview
At mycar, our Product Owner will provide the product vision and direction to various stakeholders across the business. You will be responsible for the development and implementation of strategic initiatives to deliver business benefits to not only our teams, but our customers also.
Working across a diverse array of projects, you will support the business, from inception right through to delivery, including ongoing development and issue escalation. On a day-to-day basis, the Product Owner will wear various hats, including Customer Liaison, Business Strategist, Change Manager, Market Analyst as well as Project Manager.
Reporting to the Program Management Office Lead, this is a high visibility role with key stakeholders being in-store Operations, Store Support functions, mycar Senior Leadership Team & external partners.
This role has accountability across key areas, including:
- Providing project support, vision and direction.
- Identify and help define roadmaps as well as growth opportunities and new initiatives.
- Maximising business value through prioritising selected projects, inline with commercial outcomes.
- Working with various stakeholders and customer facing teams to assess that the value to customers is aligned with the product and business strategy.
- Use advanced change management and process modelling techniques to ensure business change is eagerly adopted as BAU.
- Provide project management oversight and administration to deliver projects on time, to budget and in the ‘mycar way’.
Success Profile
- Proven, practical experience in Digital Product Management with HRIS platforms (Highly desirable)
- Confident and competent with project methodologies including Waterfall and/or Agile.
- You are familiar with the principles of change management.
- Previous experience in business analysis and process improvement.
- You have superior business acumen.
- Extensive stakeholder management skills.
