What's so exciting about this role?
This is a key role within the delivery arm of the Credit Risk, Fraud & Collections (CRFC) team and will be critical in shaping the success of the entire humm business across Australia, New Zealand, Canada and as required, our Ireland and UK divisions. You will work with business stakeholders and product managers to prepare the delivery roadmap and prioritise initiatives for the squad to deliver, with a focus on delivering maximum business value. You will manage new initiatives, ensuring they align and compliment humm's strategic direction and value proposition in market.
What Does An Average Day Look Like?
No day is average at humm but here's an idea of what you can expect to do in this role:
- Be the Product Owner for all credit, Fraud and Collections products, to ensure the vision and objectives of initiatives is well understood by the squad based on a clear understanding of the customer needs by bringing clarity to what is needed and why.
- Partner and collaborate with stakeholders to explore and refine roadmap initiatives, working to execute and iteratively deliver on the product roadmap.
- Work closely with your squad (analysts, engineering, testers), supporting them to ensure expected outcomes are met.
- Actively lead and participate in scrum ceremonies, including stand-ups, planning, grooming, showcases and retros, creating a smooth operating rhythm for delivery.
- Collaborate with a broad range of stakeholders, anticipating and understanding requirements and guiding the team on translating these into well-defined user stories and acceptance criteria for the squad.
- Maintain a brilliant backlog, ensuring priorities can deliver on the product roadmap and are balanced with optimisation initiatives.
- Conduct analysis of incidents and problems as they arise on your product.
- Act as a multiplier for your squad and stakeholders, by embodying humm group's values to bind the many functions that interact with to run a smooth development and delivery process including coaching and mentoring of the squad.

We are also looking for someone who brings:
- Experience in Credit Risk, fraud or collections systems
- Ideally 3+ years' experience as a Product Owner delivering in Agile Scrum
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Track record in driving results and delivering against your roadmap
- Strong influencer with exceptional stakeholder management
