Purpose of the Role
As an integral part of our Customer model, a Stream is a collection of multi-capability Squads that come together to solve our most critical business opportunities and deliver enhanced value to our customers and shareholders.
The Value Squad Leader in the Accelerated Performance Business Unit, will own, develop and elaborate the ’Value’ roadmap, including Recontracting, Reprice and other value maximising activities. In this permanent role, you will collaborate with stakeholders and delivery teams to transform the roadmap into experiences that realise value for our customers and EnergyAustralia.
The breadth of this role ensures you’ll be contributing to and supporting the design and build of our future Customer Business and additionally, it will allow you to work closely with our diverse cross-functional teams from across the Enterprise.
How you can support the energy transition
To be successful in this role, you will have experience leading cross-functional teams and aligning work activities to strategic outcomes. You will have strong commercial acumen, understand the intricacies of balancing volume with value and are comfortable with financial considerations such as margin, hedging, OPEX and earnings. You embrace change and feel comfortable handling degrees of risk and uncertainty.
- Knowledge and experience of Agile techniques such as elaboration, discovery, sprint planning and showcases.
- Experience operating within heavily regulated environments including external regulated consumer products and service offerings.
- Experience in leading people or cross functional teams, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working in complex environments where you are required to connect disparate pieces of information, ideas or data points to identify patterns and recommend solutions.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to adapt to different working styles.
- Tertiary qualification in business, marketing, strategy, finance or related disciplines.
