What you will do in the role
- Support Product Manager in all tasks, supporting Unified Communications (UC) products
- Manage vendor reporting
- Understand vendor products and processes, bidding, vendor tools (knowledge of Yealink brand or other UC brands an advantage)
- Develop and retain strong working relationship with vendor
- Understand pricing programs and reflecting onto channel pricelists for customers
- Develop and execute marketing plans and initiatives to drive demand generation
- Manage pricing breaks/product catalogues and publishing pricelist to customers and internal sales staff
- Manage and execute internal sales training and enablement
- Acquire, develop and maintain customer accounts
- Manage vendor claims and ensure timely payments
- Manage margin and vendor rebate attainment for portfolio
- Owning and achieving vendor/company targets end to end
- Forecasting sales/pipeline to the business and formulate gap plans
- Ordering and forecasting stock, managing weeks of inventory and aged/obsolescence
- Proactively work with key customers to generate repeat business
- Proactively work with internal sales/BDM’s/stakeholders to drive new business/opportunities
- Conduct QBR and update key stakeholders on health of the business
- Be a vendor evangelist within Dicker Data
