• This is a permanent role Monday- Friday, 7 hours per day.
Do you have an eye for detail, excel in time management, love jewellery, gemstones and enjoy working paperless (on digital platforms)? Then this is an amazing opportunity to join our dream team as a production assistant. We are Australia's Moissanite & Lab Grown Diamond store. We create spectacular fine jewellery pieces that are made of ethical jewels. We have flagship stores in Sydney and Melbourne, and we sell online too.
You are someone who is very organised, excels in time management has a sharp eye for detail and holds high standards for quality. You love to support others and can also work independently. You will work closely with the store managers, owners/ directors, QC department, jewellers as well as sales staff. You are very comfortable in managing tasks digitally on our online platforms.
Responsibilities of your role include:
* Managing orders;
* Inventory management;
* Production management;
* Assisting in Quality Control;
* Assisting in preparing orders for dispatch
You will work from our sunny head office in Sydney CBD (near Town Hall).
It’s a great opportunity to learn and develop in a fun and thriving business. You will join our team who are very friendly and encouraging who empower each other. You will understand that being in the luxury business commands attention to detail and being passionate and knowledgeable about the product – to which we will train you. You will also be fluent in English and be able to write well and clearly. You are fast and efficient with computer work and follow systems well. Being a small business there are other duties where you will be happy to assist with, and your positive effort and attitude will be paramount.
In a previous life, you might have been a production assistant, receptionist, quality control or inventory assistant. You probably like nice things like we do, so being in the fine jewellery industry, will be a dream.

It will also be fabulous having a permanent role for Monday – Friday, 7 hours per day. Our team members are highly valued. Because you are an Australian citizen or have permanent residency, then this long-term role works well for you. Our office location opposite QVB, is convenient to Town Hall train station and York St buses.
