Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Liaising with external stakeholders in relation to products and delivery.
- Production Planning: Collaborate with production teams to plan and schedule manufacturing operations, ensuring that production targets are achieved.
- Resource Allocation: Coordinate and allocate resources, including machinery, materials, and labour, to meet production requirements.
- Quality Control: Oversee quality control procedures, ensuring that products meet established standards and specifications.
- Inventory Management: Manage raw material and finished product inventory, ensuring appropriate stock levels and facilitating reorder processes.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date production records, including work orders, quality reports, and inventory logs.
- Communication: Act as a liaison between production teams, supervisors, and other departments, facilitating effective and timely communication.
- Problem Solving: Address production challenges and bottlenecks, implementing solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Reporting: Generate regular reports on production metrics, efficiency, and any issues that may impact production processes.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure that all production activities adhere to safety guidelines and protocols, identifying and addressing safety concerns promptly.
Education: Diploma or equivalent.
Experience: Prior experience in a production coordination or similar role within a manufacturing environment is advantageous.
