About You
Coming from a solid food manufacturing background, you may already have proven experience as a production leader, or you may be seeking that next step in your career and you will be able to bring to our business;
- Strong knowledge of production planning / scheduling / quality control and lean manufacturing (Ostendo Operational Software knowledge highly regarded).
- The ability to effectively manage high pressured situations regarding troubleshooting and decision making.
- Exceptional interpersonal behaviours to ensure effective collaboration across all areas of the business.
- Natural leadership qualities that can promote, motivate, and inspire a diverse workplace.
- Strong computer skills, with experience in spreadsheets.
About the Role
As a key support to the Operations Manager and the OPS Team, the responsibilities of the Production Coordinator will include (but not limited to);
- Day to Day production administration including development and implementation production plans / schedules.
- Support the Production Supervisor in leading the production team, providing guidance and training.
- Monitor production processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing lean manufacturing principles as per company practices.
- Work with cross-functional teams, including, Quality Assurance and Supply Chain, to support operations processes and ensuring a quality product and delivery expectation are meet.
- Ensure the production process meets the company requirements to compliance for safety, company policies, and quality standards.
- Identify equipment maintenance needs and coordinate maintenance activities with internal maintenance team to minimize downtime and optimize machine performance.
- Drive continuous improvement by maintaining accurate production records.
We don't work weekend! Hours of work are 38 hours per week Monday to Friday, start and finish times 9.00am to 17.00pm.
