Key Purpose of Role:
To support and help develop systems and processes in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Coordinate material and finish product master data setup, validations, and periodic maintenance. Ensure data quality, compliance, and consistency of master data across business systems. Work with internal and external counterparts to continuously improve the engineering master data requirements. Construct new and update existing Work instructions and other related engineering documents.
Areas of Responsibility:
• Manage product documentation changes, including but no limited to, bills of materials, material master data and assembly work instructions for multiple products and configurations thereof.
• Contribute to the ongoing development of production line layouts, help drive cost cut initiatives and develop new and improved manufacturing solutions.
• Plan and deliver engineering changes to existing products.
• Support assessment and implementation of internal Engineering Change Requests
• Support product and system development by coordinating FAI and other pre-manufacturing checks.
• Develop new and perform continuous review of Bill of Material’s (BOM’s) and product Routing checks to ensure latest revision is implemented.
• Support the control and development of engineering related documents (Work Instructions and other formats)
• Support, implement and manage continuous improvements related to material master data.
