ARV Chassis, a leading manufacturer of high-quality automotive components, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Production Engineer to join our team in somerton. In this full-time role, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production lines, overseeing quality control, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
The position offers a competitive salary range of AUD $70,000 to AUD $90,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
• Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of assigned production lines, ensuring adherence to production schedules, quality standards, and safety protocols.
• Identify and troubleshoot production issues, implementing solutions to optimize efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Conduct regular quality checks throughout the production process, maintaining strict adherence to quality control standards.
• Work collaboratively with other engineering teams, maintenance personnel, and production staff to identify areas for improvement and implement process optimization initiatives.
• Prepare and maintain production documentation, including process flow charts, work instructions, and quality control records.
• Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and new technologies related to Production engineering.
- Providing engineering support for production issues, troubleshooting problems, and implementing corrective actions and optimizing equipment performance.
- Training production staff on new processes and technologies to enhance productivity and ensure safety compliance.
- Working with product development teams to ensure manufacturability and cost- effectiveness of new products.
• Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a Production engineering role within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to manage and optimize production processes to achieve maximum efficiency and quality.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
• Experience working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
