Production IT Support Officer

The Opportunity
We are seeking an enthusiastic Production IT Support Officer to join the Industrialisation team at our site in Ingleburn. Reporting to the Industrialisation Manager, this role will facilitate deployment of new products and changes to existing products for card/document personalisation.

Key responsibilities include:
- Support bureau production in all aspects of workflow design, data conversion and machine set-ups
- Develop processes and implement new product by creating, configuring and setting up software application as well as machines, as per customer specifications
- Identify process improvements and make recommendations in data processing and production flow to optimise service and operations
- Undertake risk assessment and analysis of processes and personalisation solutions
- Ensure compliance to all logical security requirements in the production environment as defined by regulatory bodies
- Data analysis, production testing, system testing and acceptance testing
- Provide support to customers as required
To be successful, you will need to demonstrate the following:
- Previous experience in a similar role or within a technical environment
- Basic programming skills with working knowledge of programming languages such as ASP .NET, Java, JavaScript, HTML5, XHTML, CSS, PHP, SQL and C#
- An understanding of Datacard equipment, card personalisation and data management an advantage
- Able to apply and maintain configurations of software/ machinery including application of simple scripting
- Intermediate level of Microsoft Office suite specifically, Access, Visual Basic, Excel and Word for data manipulation along with intermediate Visual ERP operation skills
- Able to communicate effectively (both written and verbal)
- Adaptable and flexible to work in a changing, fast paced environment
- Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities
