We are looking for a kitchen professional to join our Crumpet team.

- Hourly Rate $29 p/hour + Super
About The Role:
As a Crumpets By Merna kitchen team leader - you will be responsible for mixing, cooking and packaging our delicious crumpets. We are looking for someone who is reliable and has great communication skills and takes pride in their work. We are offering guaranteed 4 days per week to start with a view to full time.
Candidates must reside in Australia, NO sponsorship at this time!
Duties:
- Cooking and producing bakery lines within hot Production Kitchen.
- Ensuring all HACCP and record keeping are maintained.
- Understanding and practicing the principals of fermenting;
- Preparing and planning production and each section;
- Quality assurance of product;
- Stocktake and ordering for the kitchen & warehouse;
- Cleaning and hygiene standards are maintained;
- Pick, pack and dispatching of wholesale and online orders;
- Record keeping and completion of production sheets
- Commitment to hours
- Liaising and reporting with kitchen supervisor.
Required skills and experience:
- Kitchen experience preferred (training provided for the right candidate)
- Food safety / handling certificate ideal
- Proven experience of working in a production environment
- Organization skills
- Great communication, both written and verbal
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team
- Good time management and ability to meet deadlines
