What is the role?

We are looking for Production Managersto join our team based in Dandenong. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Production Manager with HEAVY manufacturing experience to oversee our manufacturing operations. The purpose of the job is to Manage all the manufacturing activities and teams for a large-scale project. The ideal candidate will be responsible for optimizing production processes, ensuring quality standards, and leading a team to achieve production goals.
Striving to excel, this role requires a “can-do” attitude with top-notch proactive people skills. This role will require someone to:
- Lead and manage a production team of 15-30 people.
- Manage and coordinate day-to-day activities on the production line.
- Implement and enhance production schedules to meet customer demands.
- Monitor and maintain quality control measures to ensure product excellence.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate production staff to achieve optimal performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and drive continuous improvement.
- Identify and address production bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and issues promptly.
- Uphold safety standards and promote a culture of workplace safety.
