Production Manager Required for Manufacturerof CustomProducts

Adarsh Australiahas embarkedon an exciting new venture with the establishment of a paper recycling andmoulded fibre production facility in Perth WA.
We are seeking a full time Production Manager (moulded fibre products) to be based in our factory in Maddington,Perth, WA. The salary will be in the range of $70,000 to $80,000 dependent onexperience.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in themoulded fibre industry. The role will involvethe commissioning and refinement of new plant and equipment to achieve a high-capacitymanufacturing process.
Responsibilities will include but not limited to
· Manage and supervise the production ofcompliant, high quality moulded fibre products by due dates, in a safe, organised,and efficient manner.
· Manage/supervise factory floor personnel andother reports.
· Manage the planning, purchasing and control ofall on-site materials, including subcontracted services, consumables, and spareparts.
· Manage all logistics/transport activities.
· Manage the maintenance of plant and equipment.
· Develop a multi-skilled/flexible and highlycompetent workforce.
· Lead or support Continuous Improvementactivities/projects.
· Other duties as assigned.
This position requires a dynamic professional that has:
· Prior experience in a similar role in a mouldedfibre manufacturing organisation
· Demonstrated achievements in cost control,productivity, and team management.
· Ability to set work priorities and meet criticaldeadlines.
· Exceptional written and verbal communicationskills, ability to work across functions and levels.
· Results orientated, with a high level of driveand determination.
· Can work as part of a team, communicates wellwith personnel at all organisational levels in a professional manner, andmaintains a respectful work environment.
Essential Criteria
· 5-10 years’ experience in a moulded fibreproduction environment
· 3-5 years in a management position with similarresponsibilities
· Tertiary level engineering and management qualifications
· Sound technical skills and knowledge of pulpplant operation and maintenance scheduling of hydro pulper, moulder, vacuum pumpand dryer.
· Proficient in the use of pulp laboratory testingequipment
· Awareness of how raw material and additiveselection can affect the finished product.
· Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolveprocess issues to reduce rejection and defect rate.
