Our client is a global competitor within the Defence Industry and they are currently seeking a Production Scheduler to join their team on a permanent basis. Located in Western Sydney they support naval platforms within Defence and their technical services.
Your new role
As Production Scheduler you will be joining their Production Team and ensuring the smooth execution of production. You will meet contractual commitments, satisfy customers, and drive continuous improvement while adhering to health, safety and environment standards- Prioritize and launch manufacturing orders for seamless execution of plans
- Implement the strategy set by Industrial and master planners
- Generate and track production orders
- Ensure resource availability (labour, equipment, materials)
- Apply approved changes and maintain inventory accuracy
What you'll need to succeed
- Ability to gain Defence clearances
- Experience in Planning. Production role in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge or relevant manufacturing processes
- Clear and effective communication skills essential
- Intermediate experience in MS Office and Excel
- Understanding lean manufacturing
