This role is accountable for a variety of activities including the development of regional plans, forecasting of future workload and inventory requirements and repair parts to support the sustainment and acquisition of materiel logistics.
The role is responsible for:
- Implementing and ensuring compliance with policy, processes and procedures to support the sustainment of Defence equipment.
- Providing responses to complex correspondence, briefs and reports for delegate consideration.
- Managing budgets in support of various fleets of Defence equipment.
- Collaboration with stakeholders and subject matter experts to resolve materiel logistics issues and the application of expertise and initiative to identify alternate courses of actions is a key part of each role.
About our Team
JLU(V) is an integrated military, civilian and commercial contractor unit that delivers logistics services to the Department of Defence that is driven by a ‘one team’ approach.
The role forms part of a regional sustainment team that is responsible for managing items of supply on behalf of stock owners. These teams are pivotal in managing Defence platforms and commodities both existing and new.

- Be a team player and support the team through coaching, feedback and developing others.
- Be capable to exercise financial responsibilities to achieve outcomes for Defence.
- Have the ability to respond to changing priorities.
- You will be experienced in stakeholder engagement in relation to complex issues and manage their expectations to achieve results.
