At Holy Cross Services (HCS) we are looking for 2 experienced Supervisors to join our Production Team full-time at Banyo site. The successful candidates will be responsible for managing work zone in line with Australian Standards of compliance and ensuring that all daily activities are structured and prioritised to deliver the needs of the business. This role requires the ability to workon a rotating roster within the plant operating hours including weekend and Public Holiday Rosters as required.

About The Role
- Manage work zone in a manner that is safe, clean, and operationally efficient, and adheres to all Australian Standards of compliance relevant to Laundry Services
- Ensure that all daily activities are structured and prioritised to deliver the needs of the business in relation to pack out demand, client requirements and are in line with achievement of the goals set out in the company Strategic Plan
- Promote and encourage a positive environment with the focus of teamwork and commitment
- Supervise the effectiveness of end-to-end laundry operation; sorting, washing, ironing, folding, rewash, mending, quality control and pack out areas
- Manage, negotiate and resolve conflicts with the workplace
- Liaise with other business areas and prioritise workflow to deliver the Production needs
- Maintain and implement all reporting requirements for productivity and machinery downtime
- Managing Rosters and Timesheets including managing leave
- Completing Daily floor plans for staff work area allocation
- Ensure that self and staff comply with safe work practices
About you
- Previous Supervisory experience or a demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team
- Familiarity of working in a fast-paced production environment with a focus on meeting tight time frames and business needs
- An understanding of or capacity to gain an understanding of Laundry processing requirements across all Production areas.
- Demonstrated ability in report writing, computer, literacy, and numerical skills
- Demonstrated ability in effective conflict resolution
- Excellent communication and negotiations skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders
- Physical fitness is required due to high manual handling component
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Hold a current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or willingness to obtain one
- Certificate III in Laundry Operations is desirable but not essential
