About the Role:
As the Professional Development Content Lead, you will be responsible for the development of CPA Australia's micro-credentialed and other program courses, with a focus on building interdisciplinary skills in alignment with the Career Success Strategy. You will work with internal stakeholders where you will inform and lead the development of their portfolio of micro-credentialed courses.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Managing the sourcing and development of content for micro-credentialed and other courses, on a range of financial and interdisciplinary skills
- Managing the quality assurance of all micro-credentialed content and assessments ensuring high levels of technical accuracy, currency and relevance, editorial standards and pedagogy are evident
- Creating an offering that engages learners through contemporary educational practices and integration of technologies
- Continuous enhancement of the learning offer (through effective use of learning media, electronic resources and interactive products) and the underpinning operational processes to provide flexibility, alignment and enhanced learning opportunities for CPA Australia members
- Working with key stakeholders and contracted suppliers to manage and enhance the operational delivery of content and the assessment strategy
About You:
Our ideal candidate will be degree qualified in Accounting or have an accounting background, and hold a Cert IV in Training and Assessment. You will also have:
- Strong Project Management capability and experience, working with both internal and external stakeholders
- Syllabus development and content development experience for learning outcomes including research, synthesis and review of content
- Educational or academic experience including knowledge of teaching, learning and assessment practices, and course design
- Current, broad industry knowledge/practitioner knowledge experience in subject area/s across the accounting profession with demonstrated awareness of accounting education issues and trends
- Detail-oriented with the ability to identify and address gaps or issues pertaining to technical accuracy, currency and relevance of materials, as well as editorial errors
