Progam Support Officer

• Parramatta/Hybrid
• Pays up to $53.89-$60 per hour + Super (8 hours p/d)
• 1 Year Contract

Strong proficiency in supportive administration is a key requirement for this role, as it involves significant responsibility in managing systems, ensuring quality control, and conducting due diligence. You will be responsible for the effective management of processes whilst expertise in handling agreements is a vital aspect of the role.

About The Role

• Deliver excellent support services for the Biodiversity Offsets Program, including processing applications, managing correspondence and providing financial administration assistance for purchases and payments.
• Implement systems aimed at improving efficiency and maintaining accurate program information, covering tasks like data entry, record management and reporting.
• Cultivate and sustain positive working relationships with key internal stakeholders and program clients to enable effective communication, information sharing and prompt responses to inquiries. 

Skills & Experience

• Experience or knowledge in biodiversity and environmental matters would be advantageous and is sought after in potential candidates.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Excel and other Office applications, with experience in Power BI being an advantage but not essential.
• Strong interpersonal skills for building reliable relationships with stakeholders, managers and colleagues within the department.
• Capability to develop technical expertise in business management systems for biodiversity and financial data.

• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Quick learner with the ability to adapt to evolving business processes and tasks.
