The successful applicant will ideally have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills and be able to work collaboratively with all members of the Pastoral Care team to support the health and wellbeing of students.The Program Coordinator - Student Services, will be responsible for the behaviour, attendance, and social/emotional wellbeing of our students. The successful applicant will preferably have knowledge of the Positive Behaviour in Schools framework and a growth mind-set should be evident in their communications with students, parents, and staff. The successful applicant should collaborate effectively with the School Executive Team to plan, implement, and monitor all student wellbeing programs using data to inform strategic planning.The successful applicant will ideally have excellent interpersonal skills to enable them to work effectively with many stakeholders across the school and wider community. This includes, but is not limited to, parents/carers, teachers, other schools, external agencies, and community groups. An understanding of a restorative approach to conflict would be desirable, as would an ability to apply their knowledge to broker the best outcomes for students through their highly effective case management skills.The Program Coordinator - Student Services is a member of the school’s senior leadership team and contributes to whole school review and planning. The role requires a dynamic, strategic, and proactive approach. As Student Services Coordinator, you should lead with cultural responsiveness and in a context specific manner. A successful applicant should form strong, respectful relationships with students, families, staff, and the wider community and be committed to working as part of a close team to identify, understand, and respond to the individual needs of our young people.The successful applicant will ideally be someone who places high emphasis on parent partnerships and desires to communicate and partner with parents regularly throughout the year.   • Capacity to manage physical and financial resources.

  • complete the Department’s Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultural awareness online course within 3 months of commencement; and
  • complete any training specific to this role required by Departmental policy.
