We are currently working with a Tier 1 mining company who is looking to engage an experienced Program Coordinator on an ongoing assignment.This is a key role within the team and will build on existing frameworks and processes to champion ongoing improvements and delivery quality.This is an immediate start for the right candidate.Responsibilities include however not limited to:
- Raising purchase requisitions, and closing purchase orders in SAP
- Documenting and distributing minutes from key meetings
- Maintaining portfolio for the project streams in conjunction with Project Managers
- Onboarding/offboarding of external consultants
- Maintaining program documentation
- Risk management documentation
- Budget estimating
- Working closely with Finance on accruals, forecasts, and reconciliations
- Month-end and Year-end reporting
- 5+ years proven experience within a PMO environment on large projects (ideally SAP
- Experience working in large programs or projects and with a remote team
- Exposure to ERP projects highly desirable
- Strong understanding of project delivery lifecycle, and project/program management processes and principles
- Experience (SME) establishing project controls (policies, processes, standards) & reporting
- Proficient Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, Word, Teams and SharePoint and an eagerness to improve
- Strong communication and negotiation skills (verbal/written) with a focus on building successful relationships
- Be a subject matter expert in project controls including, scheduling, planning, cost control and reporting
- Engage in strategic, high-level liaison with all levels of management
- Implementation of project management frameworks, governance, policies, processes, standards, training and reporting
- Lead project governance processes, risk workshops and working groups
