About you:
Reporting to the General Manager South, you will put in place the necessary frameworks and work processes to achieve effective, efficient and sustainable delivery of capital upgrade and infrastructure improvement programs across the region and the state. The Program Delivery Manager will be responsible for managing the development and implementation of annual project schedules and budgets, completion of projects in accordance with business objectives, required timeframes and agreed customer expectations. Other key responsibilities will include:
- Development and effective management of the Project Delivery Team delivering high performance and a strongly motivated team committed to the effective and efficient delivery of programmed capital upgrade programs and works.
- Lead/mentor staff and provide safety leadership, expert technical advice, drive innovation and deliver quality programs for improvements and upgrades to capital, renewal, maintenance and operational works in accordance with the expectations of the business, our shareholders and our customers.
- Monitor and report on performance and drive Regional Renewals program completion and coordination across the Region.
- In collaboration with Operations and Maintenance groups provide input into the development of Annual and 3-5 year Renewals Programs to ensure the business is resourced to deliver the program in accordance with business and customer expectations.
You will bring:
We are seeking a Program Delivery Manager with demonstrated experience in managing multi-disciplinary teams in carrying out all phases of project management and delivery in accordance with defined business budgets and deadlines. You will have strong inter-personal, communication and negotiation skills with proven ability in cultivating and maintaining a diverse portfolio of relationships with clients, customers and stakeholders in regional communities and to professionally represent Sunwater and its interests. In addition, you will have:-
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering and/or Project Management based fields relatable to the objectives of the position
- Post graduate training and/or qualifications in project or business management is preferable
- Queensland unrestricted driver’s licence.
- Adaptive leadership style to suit the needs of the team, situation and individual
- Ability to drive a performance based culture, manage and motivate trade and technical teams with demonstrated commitment to a safe and stimulating workplace which observes the principles and practices of equal opportunity and workplace health and safety.
